Bodie and Sasha

They found themselves without a home when their owner passed away and have ended up at the Lexington Humane Society in September 2010.    Their situation doesn't have them down and depressed.  In fact, they have positive outlooks, are good, well behaved, happy friendly dogs.  They are looking for their next family to give hours of enjoyment and laughter.

Sasha is an elegant, long, lanky beauty queen. Very athletic, bright and beautiful.

Then there is her brother Bodie...

Bodie is the class clown, always searching for ways to make you smile with his very expressive face.

The two have never been separated and the Lexington Humane Society has asked for them to be adopted together.

They get along very well with other dogs which we witnessed as they played with their buddies in the play yard.  Bodie has a food allergy but it is easily managed.

Bodie and Sasha have been without a family for close to a year.  It's been far too long.  Won't you think about including them in your family and adopt love?

Bodie and Sasha can be found at the Lexington Humane Society's adoption center.  For more information about the two of them, please contact the Lexington Humane Society at (859) 233-0044 x 223 and tell them you want to learn more about Bodie and Sasha.  Or click on this link to read more.

Lamar and Khloe

Come with me and meet two well trained, well mannered, fun loving, adorable dogs looking for a family to call their own.  Meet Khloe and Lamar...

Khloe is on the left, Lamar on the right.  They are the best of friends!
Khloe and Lamar came together to the Lexington Humane Society on a mid September day in 2010.  They have always been together and have a strong bond to one another.  Therefore, the Lexington Humane Society requests they be adopted together.

Lamar, in typical lab fashion,  loves just about anyone who gives him attention.  Khloe, on the other hand, wants to be sure you deserve her affection first.  She's easy to convince.  All you need, it seems, are some dog treats and a big smile. Before you know it she's thinking you rock her world.

Both Lamar and Khloe are medium sized adult dogs about 1.5 yrs of age.  They love to run and play yet they behave like saints when you ask them thanks to their obedience training received at the Blackburn Correctional Facility.

Look at how well they can both be walked on the leash at the same time! No pulling from these two!

Lamar

Lamar, in the foreground, has some wonderful black and white markings on his belly.
Khloe and Lamar are not big on barking in their kennel.  They seemed very laid back and relaxed just waiting on their humans to come and get them.

Khloe would be lost without her pal Lamar.  Thus the Humane Society has decided they must be adopted together.

Khloe and Lamar are constant companions who are well behaved to boot!
These two are absolute gems and would make the best of pets for an active family.  They just want to love, to play and to run.   In addition to being graduates of obedience school, they are both crate trained and house broken.  No puppy mistakes with these two!

If you're thinking of bringing in new members to your family - ones you can be proud of - think of these two and adopt love...
